The Las Vegas Raiders began their preseason last week at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, and now they’ll return to action on Sunday when they take on the Minnesota Vikings to conclude the 2022 NFL preseason Week 1 schedule. The Vikings will make their preseason debut and Kirk Cousins will not be available after testing positive for COVID-19. Minnesota is only carrying two other quarterbacks on its roster, Sean Mannion and Kellen Mond, so both could be viable options for your NFL DFS lineups on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings in this single-game slate.
Las Vegas used a powerful rushing attack to beat Jacksonville 27-11 in Canton and Josh Jacobs, Zamir White and Austin Walter all looked strong with their limited touches. Should you load up on Raiders running backs, or are there better options in the NFL DFS player pool? Before locking in any NFL DFS picks for Raiders vs. Vikings, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy football picks from SportsLine’s R.J. White.

Top NFL DFS picks for Vikings vs. Raiders
For Vikings vs. Raiders on Sunday, where every player on DraftKings is priced at $11,400 and every player on FanDuel is $12,000, one of White’s top picks is Vikings quarterback Kellen Mond. The third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M saw action in one game during his rookie season, throwing three passes in mop-up duty.
Mond was a four-year starter for the Aggies who threw for 9,661 yards and 71 touchdowns with just 27 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,609 yards and 22 touchdowns. His rushing ability certainly enhances his upside for NFL DFS lineups. With Mond and Mannion locked into a battle to back up Cousins, both will be eager to put in a strong performance on Sunday.
White is also stacking Mond with Vikings running back Kene Nwangwu. Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison are well established as the top two running backs on the roster, but Nwangwu made a solid enough impression to stick on the active roster for most of his rookie season.
A fourth-round pick out of Iowa State, Nwangwu played in 11 games primarily on special teams, but did carry the ball 13 times for 61 yards. For the Cyclones, he played primarily as a reserve, rushing for 744 yards and four touchdowns in four years. Nwangwu, Ty Chandler and Bryant Koback are all battling for roster spots, and all three should see opportunities on Sunday. See who else to include on your rosters here.
