Michigan soccer secures dedication from three-star Idaho TE Colston Loveland

Michigan soccer added to its 2022 recruiting class Sunday, reeling in a decent finish from Idaho.

Colston Loveland, a three-star prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings, introduced his dedication on Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Loveland, ranked No. 588 within the nation amongst ’22 recruits, had gives from a number of Energy 5 packages — most notably SEC strongholds Alabama, LSU and Auburn.

In line with 247Sports nationwide recruiting editor Brandon Huffman, Loveland is a “former receiver who has bulked up and is now a standard tight finish, capable of keep in-line and block, or break up out large and match up in opposition to linebackers or DBs.”

Marlin Klein, a three-star prospect from Germany who performs in Georgia, is the opposite.

Michigan now has 13 commitments within the ’22 class, which is ranked twelfth by 247Sports. Six have joined the group since June 19.
