Washington State QB to overlook sport vs. Stanford


PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Washington State beginning quarterback Jayden de Laura has examined optimistic for COVID-19 and will not play in Saturday’s sport at Stanford, in line with a printed report Friday.

The Spokesman-Assessment mentioned de Laura may also miss the Nov. 27 sport in opposition to Washington if he’s positioned in a 14-day quarantine.

Sports activities data director Invoice Stevens declined to touch upon the report Friday.

Redshirt sophomore Cammon Cooper and redshirt freshman Gunner Cruz are listed as backups to de Laura on the crew’s depth chart. Neither has ever taken a snap in a sport for the Cougars (1-1).
