The North Carolina Tar Heels football program will have the chance to impress a big recruiting target this weekend.

Three-star safety Tyshun White has set a visit to North Carolina for this weekend, as he will arrive on campus Friday and leave on Sunday. White is a big target for the Tar Heels in the 2024 recruiting class, so getting him on campus is a big step.

White took to Twitter on Thursday to make the announcement for the visit, as he’s one of several recruits that are scheduled to be on campus this week as Mack Brown and his staff continue to pursue recruits.

The 5-foot-11, 187-pound White is a Buford, Georgia native that has a total of 30 offer in his recruitment. Aside from UNC, programs like Boston College, Colorado, Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Michigan among others are in pursuit.

White is ranked as the No. 48 safety and No. 52 player in the state of Georgia per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
