Former Auburn coordinator Chip Lindsey fired from Troy

Troy has fired head coach Chip Lindsey.

Lindsey spent three seasons as the top man for the Trojans program. He went 15-19 together with a 5-6 document this season.

“I recognize Coach Lindsey’s arduous work over these final three years,” Troy athletic director Brent Jones mentioned in a launch from the college. “Nevertheless, after vital assessment, a change in management is required.
